Today, I am confessing to you that I am an irresponsible blogger, and I humbly repent.
Here's a little update for those of you who have been praying for my family:
1. My mother has been cancer-free for about 2 months now thanks to God and to all of the prayers.
2. She is now back at work, and still needs some prayer for the rough transition.
3. I am now (as of Thanksgiving... I am sorry for the lack of update) officially engaged and will be getting married within the next year.
4. Planning a wedding + finishing up school + internship + job + bsu = incredibly busy life leaving no room for my own thoughts to make it onto a blog.
Thanks for caring,
Lydia<><

Hi Lydia,
My name is Van, a Chinese living in Hong Kong. My mum also suffered from PCNSL. She did the 1st chemotherapy last week. Now she can't walk, can't talk in fluent and her hand is shaking. I can't find the same patient in HK but read your blog in google. I am very happy to hear your mum get back to work and healthy. It gave me courage and confidence.
Best wish to you and all your family,
Van
Van,
Thanks for writing me. I hope that my mother's story can give you hope during this time. Since her diagnosis she has run 6 half marathons and yesterday she ran the "Flying Pig" Marathon in Cincinnati, OH. I found hope in prayer when there seemed like nowhere else to turn. If you ever need a sympathetic ear, please know that you can talk to me.
I will pray for our mother and for your family.
Lydia
